Science Communication
I began a Youtube channel with the goal of introducing new concepts of environmental science and chemistry to the public as a way to improve scientific communication and outreach. I also dedicated part of the channel to helping students get into higher education and succeed.

NSBE Mentor
I have been a member of the National Society of Black Engineers since 2015 and was granted the opportunity to make a difference as Vice President of my undergraduate chapter. At Duke I continue to participate as a mentor and member of the Duke NSBE chapter. (Picture: Volunteering as a recruit for Duke Graduate School of Engineering.)
Sensor Academy
As a Sensor Saturday Academy mentor 2017-2019, I work with 8th graders in the Durham area to teach them math and engineering principles. They learn the principles associated to sensors that study water quality.

Fall 2019. Current undergraduate senior analyzing chemicals associated to plastics sprayed on the shorelines of lakes and oceans.

Fall 2019. Current masters student modelling the kinetic release of polymer additives from pristine epoxy and epoxy nanocomposites.
